Looking for an ideal venue in central Reading to base your private practice?

We have a beautiful grade 2 listed building with it's own training centre fully equipped complete with wireless broadband and located in central Reading RG1 close by the Royal Berkshire Hospital, just 8 minutes from Reading station.

The centre provides 8 elegant, fully furnished, treatment and consulting rooms.

The treatment rooms all have either electric or hydraulic operated beds suitable for a range of treatments with bed rolls provided. Every room is fully furnished and ensures maximum privacy and quietness.

The consulting rooms are suitable for one to one therapy/treatments, couple counselling or group therapy.

The centre provides reception, client booking and paying service, waiting area, marketing and in–house cleaning service, this is all inclusive in the rental fee.

We also have a large training room for workshops etc that can be hired for use at an hourly rate.

Full access control

There is full entry/exit access control on the building providing a safe secure environment with each practitioner having a personal key fob front/rear door entry/exit and each client having their own unique four digit code number for the main door. 

Online Diary

Available as an option for practitioners using the house on a sessional user basis and who would like to build there business at Life Story,  it enables your clients to have a convenient way of making appointments with yourself by booking online and supported with e-mail confirmation, (more details available on request)

Car Parking

For practitioners using the house there is free secure parking available 8am til 10pm

For clients using the house there is normally adequate parking outside of the building. This is free for 2 hours. If this is not available The Royal Berkshire Hospital is approximately 100 yards away and offers pay and display parking..

Marketing

Although it is the responsibility of the practitioners to generate their own clientele, Life Story offers all practitioners a ‘Marketing tool kit’ to assist each individual practitioner in their marketing efforts.

Website: Inclusion of your treatment and profile on www.lifestorytherapeuticcentre.com

Brochures: Inclusion of your brochures in the main waiting room.

Website & PR set up: We have 2 excellent companies we work closely with who can assist you on a professional website and PR.

Reactive PR: Possible referral to radio, TV and print media subject to media demand.      

Flexible Agreement

                                                               
Practitioners work at Life Story under license agreement to a minimum of 1 block of either 4 hours 9am - 5pm or 3 hours 5pm - 9pm weekly or more as required payable one month in advance. You are entitled to terminate your contract at anytime with a notice period of no less than 3 months. 

Room rent tariffs and time slots

Your licence agreement would also carry a monthly fee of £50, which covers all the above mentioned facilities.

Hourly room rates range from £10 - £12 per hour

Weekdays: 9am – 1pm; 1pm – 5pm, 5pm – 9.00pm
Saturdays: 9am – 1pm; 1pm – 5pm

All practitioners must demonstrate the following on being accepted to join Life Story:
· You must have experience/or newly qualified with the desire to build a long term business;
· Public liability insurance;
· Registered with their professional association covering their particular therapy;
· Presentation of certificates and qualifications.
