About the Trust
The aims of Life Story Charitable Trust are to make the benefits of counselling, psychotherapy and complementary therapies available to the widest possible number of people within the community, and to provide a range of specialist training to professionals working in these fields.
To achieve this, the Trust Is supported by a co-operative of psychotherapists, counsellors, trainers and natural health therapists working to the vision and values of the trust, and operating their individual practices.
Operates on a non-profit making basis, allocating any income over-and-above the cost of operating the centre to the provision of low-cost or free therapy to those in need within the community.
Has a commitment to work with clients who currently are inadequately provided for in care/handling processes e.g. the treatment of sexual abusers in the course of their cases being heard in court, or during their prison term.
