I am a qualified and BACP accredited psychodynamic counsellor. I follow BACP Code of Ethics and make sure I maintain high professional standards of good practice in my work. I am relationally trained and use psychodynamic concepts in my approach. I have worked in various settings and with clients of different age, gender, and from various cultural backgrounds.
I have substantial experience of both long and short-term work with clients presenting various problems. I am genuinely interested in people and committed to understand them and their story. I offer warm, empathic and non-judgemental atmosphere in order to help clients explore their issues. I use my knowledge and skills to enable them to understand their emotions and find appropriate ways of dealing with difficult situations. In my work I focus on clients’ individual needs and try to capture and celebrate their uniqueness as human beings.
I speak English, Russian and Ukrainian, and can offer counselling in those languages if necessary.
