Enhanced training in psychological trauma
As an individual member of BACP Linda I bound by its ethical framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy and subject to its professional conduct procedure therein.
I have an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling, which incorporates different models of working but have developed my practice with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
During the past 10 years I have gained experience of working within a range of settings, including assessing and treating clients for GP’s and psychiatrists, as a CBT therapist at a therapeutic community for young people, as a voluntary counsellor and Employment Assisted Programmes.
I have also undertaken enhanced training in psychological trauma, assessing and treating clients for post traumatic stress disorder within the NHS and private practice.
