Margaret Hutton is a graduate of the Foundation of Psychotherapy and Counselling, Westminster Pastoral Foundation, the Tavistock & Portman Trust and the University of East London. She has gained experience working with a wide range of mental health problems
Margaret has had an established private practice working with individuals, couples, and groups in the Reading area over the past 18 years. Her professional career included working for a large psychotherapy department (NHS) in the Reading area for nine of these years with patients experiencing a wide range of presenting problems. Work in this department included assessments, working one to one, couples, conducting large and small groups once and twice weekly.
Margaret remains committed to a programme of Continued Professional Development. As a professional member of FPC and UKCP she chairs a committee in Kensington for Group Analyst’s as part of this programme. Her work continues with students, counsellors and other professionals to include supervision, training and as a mentor.
