Mrs Claire Brown - Psychologist
I am currently in my fifth year of a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy by Professional Studies, at the Metanoia Institute, in collaboration with Middlesex University.
I am registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) I abide by the BPS code of ethics.
I offer a warm, safe and accepting space to help you explore important issues and experiences in your life. I value the importance of the relationship that develops between therapist and client, recognising that trust is a necessity in this process.
Psychotherapy aims to increase awareness and help you find ways to positively improve your life. To help you achieve this, I work from an integrative framework, which allows me to find the most suitable approach to be able to meet your individual needs. Within this framework, I draw upon elements from different theoretical orientations, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy.
