Peace of Mind DNA test
A Peace of Mind DNA test can save time and money, giving you the answers you need, without lengthy, complicated and costly court processes. The test is for personal information only, as the identities of the individuals involved are not legally verified. However, the Peace of Mind DNA test is exactly the same as a DNA test that is used in a court of law: it is just as accurate and the laboratory process is identical.
Court-admissible DNA test
A court-admissible DNA test is required if the results are to be presented as evidence in court. The mother, child(ren), and alleged father(s) must all participate in the test. The difference in price between a legally accredited DNA test and a Peace of Mind DNA test is due to the legal documentation required and the identity verification necessary. At the time that DNA samples are taken, all test participants must produce two passport photos and two forms of legal identification (e.g. passport, driving licence, or birth certificate. Birth certificates are also required for any children involved. A strict protocol is followed by our clinic and DNA Clinics Ltd., so that the results of the DNA test cannot be disputed in court.
